      Ten Belarusian law enforcement officers awarded ahead of Police Day

      Ten law enforcement officers have been awarded state awards in recognition of personal contributions to reinforcing the state security, in recognition of skillful organization of their work and high results in efforts to protect public law and order, fight crime, and in recognition of exemplary discharge of service. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed the relevant decree.

        Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 65 awarding the Order of the Mother on 20 February.

          Belarus, Saudi Arabia plan to abolish visas for official travel

          On 20 February, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 63 approving the draft agreement between the governments of Belarus and Saudi Arabia on the mutual abolition of visa requirements for short-term trips for holders of diplomatic, service, and special passports as a basis for negotiations.

            Aleksandr Lukashenko approves new membership of Presidium of Higher Attestation Commission, pardon commission

            On 20 February Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 62 updating the membership of the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission, the commission on pardon and exemption from criminal liability under the President of the Republic of Belarus, and the commission for considering appeals from citizens of the Republic of Belarus regarding offenses they have committed.

              Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed a decree to pardon Natalya Levaya, who had been convicted of crimes of the extremist variety.

                Presidential decree changes format of civil service entry exam

                Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed decree No.60 “On a qualification exam” on 19 February. The decree improves the procedure for organizing the exam for individuals, who apply for civil service positions for the first time.

                  Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 45 “On ensuring the payment of wages and remuneration” on 12 February.

                    Aleksandr Lukashenko postpones increase in utility rates for Belarusian households

                    Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has decided in favor of rescheduling an increase in utility rates for households from 1 January to 1 March 2026 in order to prevent a significant increase in the financial burden that payments for the utilities represent for citizens.

                          Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 33 “On establishing utility tariffs for households for 2026” on 23 January. The document sets the ceiling tariffs for housing and utility services for the year.

                            On 22 January Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 31 aimed at improving the operations of customs authorities.
