Aleksandr Lukashenko amends decree on Belarus’ National Security Academy
Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 455 to amend Decree No. 355 "On the National Security Academy" on 5 December.
The document authorizes the State Security Committee to determine the specifics of the establishment and operation of institutes (unincorporated entities), faculties and departments of the National Security Academy.
The new decree creates the legal grounds for the academy to enroll students in a number of civilian specialties. This ensures additional conditions for matching the needs of the national security system bodies in highly qualified personnel.
