The Government is headed by the Prime Minister who is appointed by the President of the Republic of Belarus with the consent of the House of Representatives. The Government is in charge of the system of subordinate ministries and other executive bodies.
The Government consists of Deputy Prime Ministers and Ministers, and may also include heads of other national state administration authorities.
The Government of the Republic of Belarus issues regulations that are binding on the entire territory of the state.
The Government is accountable to the President and responsible to the Parliament in its activities.
