Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko called the Day of Fatherland Defenders and the Armed Forces a holiday for those who guarantee peace and stability at a ceremony to present state awards and general’s ranks to security officers in Minsk on 23 February.
Scientists do not only create new knowledge but also shape a strategic vision for the development of science and participate in the expert review of key decisions, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at a ceremony to award Doctor of Science diplomas and professor certificates to academic, research and teaching staff on 22 January.
