The special prize of the President of the Republic of Belarus for art luminaries is awarded every year in recognition of universally acknowledged achievements in visual arts, decorative and applied arts, music, theater, dancing and singing, circus art, architecture, design, cinematography, literature, journalism, television and radio broadcast, art criticism and history, folk and amateur art, museum and library science, education of creative youth.
