Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko traditionally took an active part in the nationwide subbotnik [voluntary labor day] on 17 April. As a rule, the head of state helps to build landmark facilities, beautify territories and plant trees.

On subbotnik Aleksandr Lukashenko also took part in the renovation of the Dinamo Stadium.

The President and his team also helped beautify the State Flag Square in Minsk.

Besides, Aleksandr Lukashenko planted trees on the territory of the historical and cultural complex Stalin Line and the Pripyatsky National Park and helped beautify the Trofimova Krinitsa spring-well located near his native land – the agro-town of Alexandria.
