The Eurasian Economic Union should become one of the world’s decision-making centers, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council meeting on 25 May.
“Today’s world is on the brink of major changes, it is entering an era of large-scale transformations and strategic development. There is a growing awareness that the unipolar world order should be replaced with new decision-making centers that will take on board the interests of all participants in international relations. The attention to the events taking place in Moscow today clearly suggests that the Eurasian Economic Union should become one of such centers,” the Belarusian leader said.
According to Aleksandr Lukashenko, the parties have finally made progress in matters related to financial support for joint projects in manufacturing. A document has been prepared to provide funding for such projects from the EAEU budget. “This is a landmark document. We expect far-reaching practical results from it,” the head of state emphasized.
