Condolences to family and friends of Vladimir Shimov, Honored Education Worker of Belarus, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended his condolences to the family and friends of Vladimir Shimov, Honored Education Worker of Belarus, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor.

“An outstanding economist, statesman and public figure has passed away. His name is closely associated with the formation of the national economic school,” the message of condolence reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that, by generously sharing his experience and knowledge, Vladimir Shimov made a significant contribution to the development of Belarus’ national economy and trained a whole generation of talented successors.

“The fondest memories of him will remain in our hearts forever,” the President stressed.
