Condolences to President of Colombia Abelardo de la Espriella

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent condolences to the President of the Republic of Colombia, Abelardo de la Espriella, in connection with the loss of life caused by a powerful earthquake.

“It is with deep sorrow that the Republic of Belarus has learned the news of the powerful earthquake in the Republic of Colombia, which resulted in numerous human casualties and widespread destruction,” the head of state noted. “In this sad hour, I extend my sincere condolences and words of support to you, the families and loved ones of the victims, and to all Colombians.”

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished resilience and a speedy recovery to the injured, and strength and courage to the country in overcoming the tragic consequences of the natural disaster.
