Greetings to Chinese President Xi Jinping
Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to Chinese President Xi Jinping as the country celebrates National Day.
“Minsk highly appreciates Beijing’s consistent policy on the international stage, aimed at maintaining global stability. Under your leadership, China is confidently advancing toward the comprehensive rejuvenation of the great Chinese nation, demonstrating impressive achievements in developing new quality productive forces, strengthening technological sovereignty and modernizing its economy,” the message of greetings said.
The head of state emphasized that Belarus-China relations are at an unprecedented level and that intensive political dialogue is underway. “Alongside rising trade, investment cooperation is expanding, with industrial cooperation projects of importance to both our countries being implemented. The intensification of humanitarian and cultural contacts further confirms the strength of the all-weather strategic partnership,” the Belarusian leader noted.
Ahead of the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, Aleksandr Lukashenko renewed his invitation to Xi Jinping to pay an official visit to Belarus next year. “Your visit would give special significance to the anniversary and mark the starting point for a new stage in Belarus-China relations,” the head of state emphasized.
