Condolences to Lao President Thongloun Sisoulith

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent condolences to Lao President Thongloun Sisoulith on the passing of President of the National Assembly of the Lao People's Democratic Republic Xaysomphone Phomvihane.

Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasized that Xaysomphone Phomvihane was a devoted son of the Lao land, who dedicated his life to serving his homeland.

“The Republic of Belarus shares with the Lao people the grief of this irreparable loss. Belarusians will always remember the contribution of Mr Xaysomphone Phomvihane to strengthening friendly Belarusian-Lao relations and to the development of inter-parliamentary cooperation,” the condolence message reads.

The Belarusian leader conveyed words of support to the family, loved ones, colleagues, and allies of Xaysomphone Phomvihane.
