On the letter of commendation from the President of the Republic of Belarus

Representatives of various fields have been awarded state awards and the Belarus president’s commendations. The relevant decree and executive order were signed by Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko on 4 September.

Accomplishments of 43 people were recognized with orders, medals, and honorific titles. They were awarded in recognition of many years of fruitful work, professionalism, achievement of high performance indicators, significant personal contributions to the development of the agribusiness sector, housing and utilities, civil engineering, forestry, and land reclamation sectors, in recognition of implementing the state policy in statistics, accomplishments in protecting the environment, in recognition of outstanding achievements in education, healthcare, culture, art, and science.

Director General of OAO Molochny Mir Marina Anikeyeva was awarded the Order of the Fatherland 3rd Class while Chairman of the agricultural enterprise SPK Ozery of Grodno District Aleksandr Shishko was awarded the Order of Honor.

A large group of representatives of various fields was awarded the Medal for Labor Merits. Among them are the assistant forester of the Kozyany forestry of the Braslav Lakes National Park Yelena Buyalskaya, Head of Pharmacy No.12 of RUP BelLekoTsentr Klavdiya Kuzmich, and Director of Grushevo Repair and Mechanical Plant Piotr Paprotsky.

Accomplishments of Head of the Biochemistry Department of Grodno State Medical University Vladimir Lelevich were recognized with the Medal of Francysk Skaryna.

The decree also conferred honorific titles of the Republic of Belarus.

Artist and painter, member of the Vitebsk Oblast organization of the Belarusian Union of Artists Oleg Skovorodko was awarded the title of Honored Figure of Arts.

The title of Honored Scientist of Belarus was conferred on professor of the Inorganic Substances Technology and General Chemical Technology Department at Belarusian State Technological University (BSTU) Oleg Dormeshkin and Chief Researcher of a laboratory at the Hygiene, Toxicology, Epidemiology, Virology and Microbiology Research Institute Vitaly Shevlyakov.

Chairwoman of the National Statistical Committee Inna Medvedeva was awarded the title of Honored Economist of Belarus.

The title of Honored Worker of Education was conferred on professor of the Chemical Processing of Wood Department at Belarusian State Technological University Natalya Chernaya, Head of the Biotechnology Department of this university Viktor Leontyev, and professor of the State and Military Management Department of the General Staff faculty of the Armed Forces at the Military Academy Sergei Fomin.

The Belarus president’s commendation letter was bestowed upon OAO Dorstroymontazhtrest in recognition of a significant contribution to the development of the civil engineering industry and efficient production.

In recognition of many years of fruitful work and achievements in their profession, 16 representatives of various fields were also awarded the Belarus president’s commendation letters. Those included Head of the Minsk City Inspectorate of the Tax and Duties Ministry Andrei Sobolevsky, professor of the Surgery and Transplantology Department with a course of advanced training and retraining at Belarusian State Medical University Gennady Kondratenko, Chief of the Minsk Oblast and the city of Minsk branch of the Financial Investigations Department at the State Control Committee Dmitry Dyagilev, Chief Nurse of the Republican Clinical Medical Center of the Belarus President Administration Natalya Valevach, head of the Nesvizh District branch of the Emergencies Ministry Maksim Bolotny, and the machine operator of the Ditva peat briquette plant in Lida District Andrei Buben.
