Medal for Excellence in the Prevention and Mitigation of Emergencies
The Medal for Excellence in the Prevention and Mitigation of Emergencies is awarded to senior and enlisted personnel of bodies and divisions for emergency situations, internal affairs bodies, military personnel, and other citizens in recognition of:
- personal courage, intrepidity and heroism shown in emergency response;
- skillful, decisive and brave actions in rescue operations and other emergency activities;
- well-planned and effective work of emergencies bodies and units to protect the population and territories in emergency situations;
- active participation and assistance to emergency bodies and units in the prevention and mitigation of emergency situations.
The Medal for Excellence in the Prevention and Mitigation of Emergencies is worn on the left side of the chest. If there are other medals, it shall follow the Medal for Excellence in the State Border Protection.
