On amending the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus on supplies of fruit and vegetable products for national government need

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 256 on 23 July amending the Presidential Decree on supplies of fruit and vegetable products for national government needs.

The document adds long-fruited and medium-fruited cucumbers, as well as red tomatoes, excluding cherry tomatoes and tomatoes on the vine, to the list of fruit and vegetable products procured under the state order system.

The off-season procurement period for cucumbers will run from 1 November through 31 March, and tomatoes will be procured for the period from 1 November through 30 April, inclusive.

The Decree is aimed at ensuring a guaranteed supply of fruit and vegetable products to the domestic market during the off-season period.
