On conferment of state awards

Decree No. 245 of 22 July 2026

Representatives of various sectors of the economy, along with the Belarusian food producer Savushkin Product, have been honored with state awards and the President’s commendation. The relevant decrees and executive order were signed by Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko on 22 July.

Orders, medals and honorary titles were conferred on 35 individuals in recognition of their many years of dedicated service, professionalism, outstanding production achievements, courage and determination shown while rescuing a person from a fire, exemplary organization and impartial investigation of criminal cases, contributions to economic security, strengthening law and order, and the development of industry, agriculture, forestry, construction, transport, land reclamation, project design, science, healthcare, education, culture and sports.

OAO Savushkin Product was awarded the Order of Labor Glory for its significant contribution to the development of the food processing industry, efficient operations and the production of high-quality products.

The Order of Labor Glory was also awarded to Vladimir Fleito, turner-borer at the experimental production shop No. 1 of Minsk Tractor Works.

Aleksandr Rybachonok, a senior firefighter-rescuer at Fire and Rescue Unit No. 1 of the Kruglyansk District Emergency Department, received the Medal for Saved Life.

The Medal for Excellence in the Maintenance of Public Order was awarded to Viktor Baryshev, Sergei Mironovich and Andranik Khachatryan, officers of the central office of the Investigative Committee.

A large group of employees received the Medal for Labor Merits, including Vadim Olshevsky, Deputy Chairman of the Brest Oblast Executive Committee; Viktor Baranov, a machine operator at mechanical shop No. 2 of Minsk Tractor Works; and Valery Krasotsky, a tractor driver at the Peskovtsy agricultural enterprise.

The Medal of Francysk Skaryna was awarded to Yelena Dulebenets, Anna Mirkos, Dmitry Pishchik and Oleg Shcherbakov, performers with the National Presidential Orchestra of Belarus.

The title Honored Scientist of Belarus was conferred on Anatoly Mikhailov, Head of the Radiology Department at the Institute of Advanced Training and Retraining of Healthcare Personnel of the Belarusian State Medical University. Nikolai Mochansky, Head of the Minsk aeroclub named after two-time Hero of the Soviet Union S. Gritsevets, was awarded the honorary title Honored Pilot of Belarus. The Honored Worker of Prosecution Service of Belarus title was conferred on Aleksandr Chadyuk, Head of the Department for Handling Appeals from Citizens and Legal Entities at the Prosecutor General’s Office.

Sergei Timoshin, professor of the higher mathematics department at Sukhoi State Technical University of Gomel, received the title Honored Worker of Education. Yury Predko, Director General of OAO Household Electronics, was awarded the title Honored Worker of the Manufacturing Sector, while Grigory Dolgy, Director of the Ostrovets Experimental Forestry institution, received the Honored Worker of the Forestry Industry title.

The Honored Master of Sport of Belarus title was awarded to Mahamedkhabib Kadzimahamedau, athlete-instructor with the Belarusian national freestyle wrestling team at the Staiki National Olympic Training Center; Tatsiana Khaladovich, senior sports instructor with the communications and support unit of the Belarusian Border Service sports team; and Vasilina Khandoshka, athlete-instructor with the Belarusian national synchronized swimming team at the National Olympic Training Center for Water Sports.

The President’s commendation was presented to 13 professionals from various fields. Among them are Igor Moroz, Director of the Research and Practice Center for Strengthening Law and Order under the Prosecutor General’s Office; Andrei Yeliseyev, Deputy Director for Production at Gomel Integrated Construction Trust; and Andrei Mateyuk, Head of the Department for Oversight of the Agro-Industrial and Environmental Sectors at the State Control Committee.
