Republican Center for Health Improvement and Resort Treatment of the Population

General information

The Republican Center for Health Improvement and Resort Treatment of the Population is a state institution subordinate to the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus and authorized to implement the state policy on public health resort treatment and recuperation.

Main tasks

  • guaranteeing public health resort treatment and recuperation using the central state budget and state social security system funds;
  • participation upon the request of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus in drafting of laws and regulations on the management of public health resort treatment and recuperation, including health resort activities;
  • formulation of proposals on the procedure and amount of allocations from the central state budget and state social protection system funds to manage public health resort treatment and recuperation activities within the established procedure;
  • providing state licensing for health centers, health resorts, and other organizations engaged in public health recuperation activities;
  • formulation and approval of the provisional code of conduct for medical, pedagogical and other staff in health resorts and recuperation centers;
  • organization of conferences, meetings, symposiums, workshops on matters of public health resort treatment and recuperation.
