Presidential Library of the Republic of Belarus

General information

The Presidential Library of the Republic of Belarus is one of the largest specialized research libraries in the country. The library includes 13 departments and holds around 1.5 million documents. The library annually welcomes around 39,000 individual users and groups. Thanks to its network of reading halls and a wide range of virtual services, the Presidential Library is accessible for various kinds of users.

Main tasks

• to provide information, bibliographic and library services for the President, government authorities, other categories of users;
• to gather, keep, and use a universal collection of domestic and foreign documents on government and the parliamentary system, law, economics, politics, science;
• to provide equal access to resources and services of the Library for all users.
