Zhlobin to host Dazhynki 2013 harvest festival
The nationwide harvest festival Dazhynki 2013 will take place in Zhlobin and the district, Gomel Oblast, in the second half of September. The Belarus President signed the relevant executive order on 8 February.
An organizing committee chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Rusyi has been set up for the festival.
Just like in previous years the festival will honor winners of the national competition in harvesting grain and leguminous crops, storage of grass forage, cultivation of flax and livestock production.
The organizing committee will approve the action plan to gear up for the harvest festival in two months.
