ZAO Interfax marks 25th anniversary

    President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the personnel of ZAO Interfax (International Information Service Group Interfax) as the company celebrates its 25th anniversary.

    “Over the years you have evolved from the first non-state news agency in the Soviet Union which established brand-new standards of journalism into the largest and extremely progressive international information service group on the territory of the Commonwealth of Independent States,” the message of greetings reads.

    Aleksandr Lukashenko remarked that Belarus “appreciates the input of the news agency in strengthening friendship and cooperation with the fraternal Russian people”.

    “I am convinced that experience, professionalism and a huge creative potential will help you remain increasingly vibrant and will be useful for the production of high-quality information services,” the President emphasized.
