Vladimir Putin's official visit to Belarus
President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin has completed his two-day official visit to Belarus.
In the Minsk National Airport the presidents had a short conversation.
On 31 May negotiations between the two heads of state took place. Belarus and Russia have reached complete mutual understanding in all key issues on the bilateral agenda. The two countries confirmed eagerness to develop mutual relations in various avenues. Aleksandr Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin also adopted the joint statement, in which they pointed out the strategic character of relations between Belarus and Russia.
The visit of Vladimir Putin to Belarus, which took place on the eve of the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two states, was his first foreign trip as the President of Russia.
