Vitebsk State Medical University marks 80th anniversary

President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent his best greetings to the personnel of the Vitebsk State Medical University (VSMU) which celebrates the 80th anniversary.

The head of state noted that the university is an acknowledged leader of the national medical science and education. It is respected both in the country and abroad.

“The university has trained over 40,000 highly-qualified specialists. VSMU graduates work in all parts of Belarus and make a big input in the development of the Belarusian healthcare system,” the message of greetings reads.
