Visit to Halk Hakydasy Memorial Complex

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko had a short excursion to the Halk Hakydasy Memorial Complex (People’s Memory) in Ashgabat.
The Belarusian head of state laid a wreath at the monument to the victims of the Great Patriotic War.
The memorial complex was unveiled October 2014. It includes a monument in honor of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and monuments commemorating the victims of the Battle of Geok Tepe and the Ashgabat earthquake. There is a museum near the memorial complex. The monuments are surrounded by fountains and flower beds.
Aleksandr Lukashenko left a note in the Book of Distinguished Guests at the museum.
