Victory Day greetings from Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko
Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has wished a Happy Victory Day to foreign leaders, influential public figures and heads of integration associations.
“Today, with a sense of pride, gratitude, and tranquil sorrow, we recall those who presented the future to us, who went through severe hardships, lost family members and friends, or gave their lives to protect our country from fascist enslavement. Having displayed strong character, bravery and selflessness, our grandfathers and great grandfathers accomplished a great feat. They showed an example of genuine patriotism, unconditional love for the Motherland. Thanks to the power of national unity and closeness, significant pages were added to the history book of the Great Victory,” the message of greetings to Russia President Vladimir Putin reads.
Aleksandr Lukashenko has also sent messages of greetings to Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev, Armenia President Armen Sarkissian, Georgia PresidentGiorgi Margvelashvili, Kazakhstan PresidentNursultan Nazarbayev, Kyrgyzstan PresidentSooronbay Jeenbekov, Moldova PresidentIgor Dodon, Tajikistan PresidentEmomali Rahmon, Turkmenistan PresidentGurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Ukraine President Petro Poroshenko.
The Belarusian head of state wished a Happy Victory Day to Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia Valentina Matviyenko, Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of Russia Vyacheslav Volodin, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill.
Messages of greetings have been sent to Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee – CIS Executive Secretary Sergei Lebedev, State Secretary of the Union State Grigory Rapota, Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission Tigran Sargsyan, Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Yuri Khachaturov.
The Belarusian head of state also receives numerous greetings from foreign leaders and politicians.
