President brings certain officials to account

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko signed the decree on bringing to account a number of officials for their failure to organize an objective and fair contest to choose the Belarusian singer for the Eurovision song contest.

A reprimand was given to Culture Minister Pavel Latushko and Chairman of the Belarusian Television and Radio Company Gennady Davydko.

Head of the Presidential Administration Vladimir Makei, Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Tozik, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Alexander Radkov were issued with reprimands, too.

Pavel Latushko and Gennady Davydko were instructed to fire those who rigged the results of the Eurofest project.
