Greetings to Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan
Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan and the friendly people of Armenia as the country celebrates the national holiday - Independence Day.
“Belarus and Armenia are bound by strong ties of friendship, common history, traditional family and Christian values. Our people are bound together by the victory in the Great Patriotic War, joint heroic relief efforts in the wake of the Spitak earthquake, participation in integration associations and close business partnership,” the message of greetings reads.
The head of state expressed confidence that in the current conditions, in order to endure and to continue to move forward it is important to stay united and cooperate. “Minsk is committed to expanding mutually respectful and constructive dialogue with Yerevan,” the President emphasized.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Vahagn Khachaturyan good health and fruitful activity in the responsible state post, and wished peace, kindness and prosperity to all Armenians.
