Piotr Tikhonovsky relieved of post of Head of Armed Forces’ General Staff
Brigadier general Piotr Tikhonovsky has been relieved of the post of Head of the
General Staff of the Armed Forces, First Deputy Defense Minister of the Republic
of Belarus and transferred from regular military service to the retired reserve
with a right to wear military uniform and rank insignia. President of Belarus
Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed the corresponding decree.
