Meeting with Olympic champion in rhythmic gymnastics Alina Kabaeva

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has met with Alina Kabaeva of Russia, the 2004 Olympic champion in rhythmic gymnastics.

The meeting was held at the Palace of Independence following a ceremony to inaugurate the National Rhithmic Gymnastics Olympic Training Center (Palace of Gymnastics), which was attended by the big-name Russian athlete.

During the nearly 90-minute meeting, Aleksandr Lukashenko and Alina Kabaeva discussed the latest sports events with a focus on rhythmic gymnastics.

Alina Kabaeva also went on a brief tour of the Palace of Independence.
