Belarus is ready to do everything for Georgia and the wellbeing of its people, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he met with outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Belarus David Kotaria on 14 November.
“Please be sure that Belarus will do everything for Georgia, for the wellbeing and prosperity of wonderful and hardworking Georgian people,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
The head of state said that in recent years Belarus and Georgia have found opportunities for developing economic cooperation and boosting bilateral trade. Belarus delivers a wide range of goods to Georgia. “We export machine-building products to Georgia. And we will deliver other products if you are interested. We are ready to use our technologies to make our equipment for agriculture and manufacturing in Georgia,” the President said.
Aleksandr Lukashenko also remarked that Georgia President Giorgi Margvelashvili grows Belarusian varieties of potato, and he even did not expect that the harvest would be so good. “This is a good result, now we supply even more potato seeds to Georgia,” the head of state said.
