Greetings to the State Security Committee of the Republic of Belarus, servicemen, personnel and veterans of the state security bodies

Dear friends,

I cordially congratulate you on your professional holiday, the Day of the Member of the State Security Bodies of the Republic of Belarus.

Being the successor of the Soviet KGB, the Belarusian special service has made a long way of development during 95 years. It comprised the best traditions of old-generation KGB servicemen, of which the main tradition is selfless service to the Homeland.

Today the State Security Committee with high professionalism resolves all tasks, serves as Belarus’ reliable shield protecting from internal and external threats and making a huge contribution to promoting sovereignty and integrity of the country.

I extend my best greetings to the veterans of the state security bodies. You are an example of courage, genuine patriotism and civil responsibility. Your experience and wisdom inspire young colleagues.

I am confident that the personnel of the state security bodies will prove their loyalty to service duties and will do their best to protect national interests of the Homeland.
