Greetings to participants of 17th National Festival of Belarusian Songs and Poetry
Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the participants of the 17th National Festival of Belarusian Songs and Poetry.
“Over the years of existence the festival has become a bright event in the cultural life of the republic. It traditionally helps enrich the spiritual legacy of our ancestors, popularize the Belarusian poetry, preserve the best achievements of the Belarusian music,” the message of greetings reads.
The head of state remarked that the program dedicated to the 135th anniversary of the birth of great Belarusian poets Yanka Kupala and Yakub Kolas gives special significance to the event.
“I am convinced that this creative forum will reveal interesting projects and open new names, promote the professional growth of young talents,” the president stressed.
