Greetings to participants and guests of 14th Belarusian international media forum
Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the participants and guests of the 14th Belarusian international media forum “Partnership for the future: journalism and social security”.
“It is symbolic that in the year of the 75th anniversary of Belarus’ liberation from the Nazi invasion the forum takes place in Brest, a city which took the first blow of the enemy with courage,” the message of greetings reads.
“Our peoples committed a great deed, protected their freedom and independence in that war because they were together. Today we should also join efforts to protect our common history, prevent the attempts to rewrite and falsify our heroic past. The professional community, the audience and readers must choose the journalism of truth, justice and objectivity,” the Belarusian President said.
Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed confidence that the forum will inspire its participants to look for new ideas and creative solutions in the implementation of conceptual projects aimed at promoting unity, accord and peace for the future in the society. The President also wished all the participants and guests of the forum unflagging energy, strength of spirit and permanently high rankings.
