Greetings to Ireland President Michael Higgins

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to Ireland President Michael Higgins as the country celebrates Saint Patrick’s Day.

“I hope for the further development of friendly relations between our countries and productive bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest,” the message of greetings reads. “Belarus will always be grateful to the citizens of Ireland for their many-year dedication to provide humanitarian aid to people from Chernobyl-affected regions of Belarus.”

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished the President of Ireland strong health and every success in his responsible job. He also wished Irish people peace, stability and wellbeing.
