Greetings to BelTA on 105th anniversary

    Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to the personnel of the Belarusian Telegraph Agency BelTA as the agency marks its 105th anniversary.

    “Every day for more than a century Belarus’ main news agency has been writing the chronicle of the country, keeping pace with the time. Over these years, all epochal events in the life of our people have been reflected in the news and photos of BelTA,” the message of greetings reads.

    The head of state noted that today the Belarusian Telegraph Agency BelTA is one of the country’s most authoritative and demanded media resources, a source of objective information for both domestic and foreign audiences.

    “Preserving the best traditions of national journalism, it has always been a pioneer in the use of new formats of work and advanced technologies. Let timeliness, relevance, accuracy and high quality remain the main principles of your work,” the President wished.
