Greetings on 750th anniversary of Mogilev
Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings on the
750th anniversary of Mogilev.
“The city has a long and complicated history. Over the years, Mogilev has evolved from a citadel into a modern industrial, scientific, and cultural center,” the head of state remarked. “Today the products of Mogilev-based machine-building, chemical, wood-processing enterprises, consumer goods are well known both in the Republic of Belarus and in the CIS countries. The results of your productive work are as follows: there are new residential districts, production facilities, healthcare and educational institutions.”
The city has a diverse cultural life full of bright events such as the music festival Golden Hit, the festival of church music Mighty God.
“Love for the native city, sincere care of it, the memory of heroic past, diligence, patience and hospitality, are the distinctive features of the current generation of Mogilev residents,” Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed.
He expressed confidence that Mogilev people will continue doing their best to preserve and multiply the material and spiritual legacy. The president wished them strong health, happiness, and wellbeing, new achievements and every success in work for the benefit of the Republic of Belarus.
