Gomel State University marks 85th anniversary
President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the personnel of the Francysk Skaryna Gomel State University which celebrates its 85th anniversary.
“Over the years your university has turned into a large scientific and educational center in Polesie. Its graduates work productively in various branches of the Belarusian economy,” the message of greetings reads.
Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed that the university’s personnel pay much attention to the improvement of education methods, promote creative work of students, improve the material and technical base, take part in international projects. High professionalism, perseverance and dedication of lecturers and professors are a strong foundation for the development of the university.
