Foreign leaders congratulate Belarus President on Victory Day

    Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko is receiving congratulations sent by leaders of foreign nations on the occasion of Victory Day.

    The congratulation from President of Russia Vladimir Putin reads: “In July we will have to properly celebrate the 70th anniversary of Belarus’ liberation from the Nazi invaders. The liberation was a crucial point that determined the outcome of the war to a large extent. We will never forget the price paid for the victory and the significant contribution made by the Belarusian nation to the common cause of the downfall of fascism”.

    The President of Russia praised efforts of Belarus’ leadership to preserve historic truth about Great Patriotic War events. “I am convinced that the glorious traditions of comradeship, mutual supportiveness and unity tempered during the war will remain a solid foundation for the development of union relations between our nations,” he remarked.

    In his congratulation Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev said he was confident that the deep traditions of friendship, good neighborhood, and mutual support, dedication to the promotion of integration ties in the CIS space will continue advancing Kazakh-Belarusian union relations.

    Aleksandr Lukashenko continues receiving heartfelt congratulations that wish success, wellbeing, and prosperity to the Belarusian nation from many other foreign leaders, public and political figures, and heads of integration associations.
