Draft agreements on Belarus’ participation in EU transboundary cooperation programs approved

    Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko approved draft agreements regarding Belarus’ participation in the transboundary cooperation programs of the European Union as a basis for further talks. The head of state signed corresponding decrees on 23 December.

    In particular, the President approved draft agreements on the financing of transboundary cooperation programs Latvia-Lithuania-Belarus and Poland-Ukraine-Belarus within the framework of the European Neighborhood Instrument for 2014-2020.

    The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been authorized to hold the talks on the draft agreements and sign them.
