Dmitry Medvedev congratulates Aleksandr Lukashenko on Unity Day

President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev has congratulated President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko on the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia.

"Our peoples are connected by many centuries of friendship and good-neighborly relations, common spiritual roots, glorious chapters of common history. Relying on this solid foundation of Belarusian-Russian allied relations, we successfully develop all-round mutually beneficial partnership, get tangible results in trade and economy, coordinate approaches on a wide range of issues on the regional and international agenda," the message of congratulations runs.

Dmitry Medvedev expressed confidence that the fulfillment of existing plans fully meets concrete interests of the two countries and will strengthen all-European stability and security.
