Distinguished Belarusians honored with state awards
A number of distinguished citizens of Belarus have been honored with state awards in recognition of their long-lasting fruitful work, professional excellence, attainment of considerable production results, irreproachable service, exemplary fulfillment of their service duties, achievements in trade, education, culture and sport. President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko signed the relevant decree on 30 August.
The Order for Service to the Motherland, Second Class, has been conferred on Deputy Interior Minister, Internal Troops Commander Valery Gaidukevich, Belarusian Military Prosecutor Alexander Dranitsa.
The Order for Service to the Motherland, Third Class, has been bestowed upon four Belarusian servicemen.
The Order of Honor has been presented to head of the Minsk Oblast inspection of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties Vladimir Bursh, director of Display design bureau Alexander Voitenkov, deputy chief production engineer of Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant Yevgeny Gorko, director of MNIPI's scientific and production enterprise АТОМТЕХ Valery Kozhemyakin, and others.
The Order of Francysk Skaryna has been conferred on member of the Belarusian Union of Artists Vasily Sumarev. The medal of Francysk Skaryna has been presented to three people.
The medal for distinction in military service has been bestowed upon three Belarusians.
A number of people have been decorated with the medal for labor service.
The Honored Artist of Belarus title has been bestowed upon chief specialist of the Film Actor's Theater Studio of Belarusfilm Anatoly Kotenev.
The Honored Inventor of Belarus title, the Honored Worker of the Manufacturing Industry title, the Honored Specialist of the Armed Forces of Belarus title, the Honored Master of Sport title have been conferred on a number of Belarusians, too.
The President also sent the Letter of Thanks to rector of the Belarusian State Academy of Music Yekaterina Dulova in recognition of her long-lasting and fruitful work and personal contribution to the development of the Belarusian music.
The Letter of thanks was given to Piotr Savitsky, Chairman of the Labor, Employment and Social Protection Committee of the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee, for his personal contribution to the implementation of the national social and labor policy.
