Date for Belarusian People’s Congress set for 22-23 June

Decree No.164 on convening the 5th Belarusian People’s Congress on 3
May.
The President took the decision to convene the 5th Belarusian People’s Congress in Minsk on 22-23 June as part of the constitutional right of citizens to participate in the discussion of the state and public life of the country. The agenda of the event will include the issues concerning the social and economic development program of the Republic of Belarus 2011-2015 and the major guidelines of the country’s social and economic development program for 2016-2020.
The decree also sets the number of participants of the congress at 2,500 people and spells out the most important organizational events of the congress.
