Commentary to Decree No. 523 of 27 November 2013
On 27 November President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 523 “Concerning the operation of scriveners’ offices in the Republic of Belarus”.
The document aims to improve the operation of scriveners’ offices, raise the scrivener’s prestige and protect the rights and legal interests of physical and legal bodies.
In line with the document, on 1 January 2014 public and private scriveners will be given a unified status. Instead of licenses and certificates they will receive necessary documents from the Justice Ministry.
The Decree shall enter into force on 1 January 2014.
