Commentary to Decree No. 223 of 16 May 2014

 President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 223 “Concerning enrollment to educational institutions in 2014” on 16 May.

The decree established the State Commission for Enrollment Campaign in 2014. The commission includes members of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, heads of administration bodies, representatives of public organizations and workers of audit bodies.

The commission will supervise the preparation for and holding of the central national test, provision of equal opportunities to university and college applicants. The commission will also take measures to prevent violations of corresponding official documents.

The decree will ensure the observance of legislation concerning the enrollment campaign.
