Commentary to Decree No. 160 of 9 April 2012
The address system comprising information on the addresses of real estate objects, names and borders of oblasts, districts, village councils and residential areas will be created in Belarus. The head of state signed Decree No. 160 "On the Address System" on 9 April.
The system will ensure uniformity of address information and help avoid the situation when different real estate objects have identical addresses. The system will also include information on the location of registered and unregistered facilities.
In line with the Decree, the State Property Committee will create and operate the address system.
