Commentary to Decree No. 154 of 2 April 2012

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 154 on introducing amendments to the order of creation and the terms of operation of temporary scientific communities on 2 April.

The document lifts a number of restrictions on the terms of operation of temporary scientific communities if they are financed out of non-budget sources.

Temporary scientific communities can perform scientific research using non-budget funds as part of more than two agreements at the same time.

The Decree will create additional material stimuli for the implementation of scientific projects in the country.
