Comment on Decree No. 355 of 12 August 2013

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed Decree No. 355 “On amendments and addenda to Belarus President Decree No. 255 of 21 May 2009”.

The document authorizes oblast executive committees, the Minsk City Executive Committee, and the Belarusian Fund for Financial Support of Businessmen to take decisions on rendering state support for self-employed businessmen, to request data about their revenues from taxation bodies. It will allow simplifying the procedure for self-employed businessmen to apply for state financial support.

Before the Decree comes into force, self-employed businessmen, who intend to request state financial support, have to request information about their revenues themselves from taxation authorities for the sake of presenting the information to the relevant government agency.
