Colonel Yuri Karayev appointed Belarus’ Deputy Interior Minister

Major General Valery Gaidukevich has been relieved of the post of Deputy Interior Minister of the Republic of Belarus – Commander of the Interior Forces and transferred from regular military service to the retired reserve with a right to wear military uniform and rank insignia. Colonel Yuri Karayev has been appointed to the post. President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko signed relevant decrees on 22 December.
