Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended Christmas greetings to all Belarusians celebrating the holiday on 25 December.
The head of state noted that the eternal light of Christmas warms people’s hearts with the best feelings. “Christmas strengthens trust in the good, fills up with spiritual strength, and helps us understand the eternal values like love, mercy and forgiveness. This holiday also sets the best Christian traditions in the society which are the respect for parents who gave us life, sacrosanctity of family ties and devotion to the homeland,” the message of greetings runs.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished that the profound meaning of this great holiday accompanied all people's good deeds and undertakings.
