I cordially congratulate you on your professional holiday – Border Guard’s Day.

Loyalty to the best traditions, eagerness to enhance them and protect the borders of the Republic of Belarus have been and still are the priorities for the current generation of border guards.

When on duty, border guards close the channels of illegal migration and trafficking, prevent the spread of international terrorism. The fulfillment of these tasks helps develop the border infrastructure, improve its technical equipment, and promote professional development.

I am convinced that thanks to your responsible attitude to your military duty you will continue to ensure the inviolability of the state borders, serve the people of Belarus with commitment and dedication.

I am especially grateful to veterans who did their best to protect the borders of the Fatherland.
