Belarusian State Agrarian University marks 60th anniversary
President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the personnel of the Belarusian State Agrarian University (BSAU) which celebrates its 60th anniversary.
“Your university has evolved from the institute of agricultural mechanization and electrification to the leading institution of higher learning to train engineers and technical specialists for the Belarusian agricultural industry. The university trained over 46,000 specialists who productively work in various industries of the national economy and make a big contribution to the social and economic development of Belarus,” the message of greetings reads.
The head of state remarked that the achievements in education and science which have been praised both in Belarus and abroad are the results of high professionalism and concerted work of pedagogues, workers and students of the university.
“I am convinced that in the future the university’s personnel will continue to work hard for the benefit of the Fatherland, multiplying the good reputation of the institution,” the President stressed.
