Belarusian State Academic Chapel Choir marks 75th anniversary
President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the honored art group of the Republic of Belarus, the State Academic Chapel Choir named after Grigory Shirma of the Belarusian State Philharmonic, which celebrates the 75th anniversary.
“Over the years of existence several generations of musicians of your art group made a big contribution to the development and promotion of the national music art,” the message of greetings reads.
“The repertoire of the chapel choir includes the best pieces of the Russian and foreign classical music, works of modern Belarusian composers, folk music. Your performances are appreciated by the music experts in Belarus and abroad,” the head of state remarked.
